Compact-size and Cost-effective AMD LX800 Low Power Network Appliance Platform

The platform integrates a low power consumption and reliable performance embedded SBC, the SBC8A100, which supports an AMD Geode™ LX800 processor and features an AMD Geode™ CS5536AD chipset integrated VGA function and built-in PCI 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface. With small form factor design, the NA-100 is flexibility, low power, cost-effective, fanless with the abundant features that designed for VPN, content filtering, UTM, network security gateway and other embedded box solutions.

Available with four Fast Ethernet ports thru PCI interface, the NA-100 offers reliable network connection for data transaction for small office network environments through Realtek® 8100C LAN chip. This compact network security platform supports up to a maximum of 512MB of DDR266/333/400 SODIMM socket with unbuffered non-ECC memory. In order to provide the best network performance and to meet more complex security application needs, it has powerful storage interfaces including one 2.5" HDD and CompactFlash™, and one Mini PCI slot with 32-bit/33MHz is available for expansion.

For system login with monitoring and building control proxy, this network security platform has space for a 2.5" hard drive for software porting by software solution providers. The ultra low power network appliance also offers a management functions, including BIOS redirection to console port and more. For customer easily porting LAN bypass feature (optional) with their application program, we provide development kit with micro code for migration. Other I/O features include one RS-232 DB-9 console ports, two USB 2.0 ports, power connector, four RJ-45 ports and LED indicators. Moreover, the NA-100 supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 and 2.4 operating systems to better support customers who have developed applications on the above listed versions.
